Time flies…when you are blogging for a living and when you are sole contributor to the money pot that’s taking awfully long to fill up.
(he he, butas yata ang money pot ko.)
Anyway, I just woke up one day that:
- Raine is not wearing diapers in bed anymore
diapers are off my grocery list. ( i have to wake him up though sometime between 12 MN to 3 AM to go pee) - Raine has grown taller and leaner. (i’m barely 5 ft tall, he comes up just below the breastline already and he’s only four!)
- I missed BlogParteeh07, the biggest Filipino bloggers’ event of the year.
- It will soon be a year since we got here but I haven’t been back to the beach.
Where’d the time go? I used to be able to carry Raine in one hand and now he’s asking questions like “why is the sky blue?” and “kung meron din bang buto (bicol for penis) sina tito kambal?”
Actually, I am scared of those intelligents questions he’d come up with. BUT, they’re great don’t you think? ![]()

Ate Glo,
Ang bilis lumaki ang mga bata ano? Raine is going to be a tall dude. It’s great to document his intelligent questions.

Hi Glo!
It’s my first time to visit your site. It’s so fun reading your blogs. I guess, I will visit this more often. Just enjoy the intelligent questions of Rhine. It’s really hard to keep up with them, isn’t it? (Have a daughter with never-ending questions too).

Try whispering to Raine while he is asleep affirming your love, praising some good trait or deed and then say: “You are using the CR to pee..” or something like that. I used it with my two girls and it worked. At age 2 or 3, no more nappies! I read it from Zig Ziglar.. It’s something about the subconscious…like the power of suggestion… I emailed you something i wrote..
