What is your (actual) internet speed?
I have always suspected that mine is running below 230.4 kbps as it appears in my internet connection speed monitor.
Thanks to speedtest.net my suspicion was confirmed.
At the moment, there is no better alternative in my home location, so i have to make do with the above specs for an average of 5K PHP per month. I know that this really sucks while I am not getting a nice deal for my money. So if you know of a better (not to mention cheaper) alternative, please let me know the moment it becomes available.

Update, September 12:
I found a spot where there is the best reception fro my cellphone’s signal and have been working on that spot since then.

29kbps out of 230.4kbps?! Who’s your service provider? “Infocom Technologies Inc.” ba?

smart internet actually (via smart 3g/gprs). considering na hindi full signal dito kaya siguro ganyan. hayyy…

wala ako maitutulong sa speed predicament mo, but if ever globe becomes available there try mo, its better than PLDT DSL abd Smart’s service…

hello sheila!!! ha ha ha. room 3103 ako. di ko malilimutan ang numbers na yan. grabe unforgetable ang times na nakatira tayo sa wing na yan ng men’s coed dorm. hayy, ang saya saya wouldn’t trade that time for anything else in the world.
try mo tignan yung website ng uplb www.uplb.edu.ph. siguro naman merong email add ang registrar dun. otherwise, dalaw ka na lang sa LB ang registrar office ay nasa “new” building na katabi ng humanities at katapat ng biosci building.

hahaha! ako din di ko rin malilimutan ang room number ko at forever na nakatatak sa pagkatao ko ang mga araw na tayo ay nakatira sa men’s dorm, grabe ang saya saya nga ako din i wouldn’t trade it for anything else, if i were to choose my life again sa UPLB at men’s dorm pa rin ako hehehe!!! thanks for the tip na lumipat na ang registrar aba! ang tagal ko na nga hindi bumabalik sa elbi, di ko nga alam na lumipat na ng building ang registrar. Sana makabisita ako sa loyalty day…sana talaga!
