I’ve been meaning to mention this last week but totally forgot. The photos I saw from The Hunky Blog reminded me.

Last week (January 17), Sylvester Stallone guested at the Late Show with David Letterman to promote the new movie Rambo 4, while his buddy Bruce Willis accompanied him but joined the show’s band on vocals and harmonica. Bruce Willis joined the band and stole the whole show. David Letterman even said that Bruce should join his band every night.

People tend to forget that Bruce Willis is a blues singer and a musician. He is just always overplayed as Demi Moore’s ex-husband and that Die Hard action star.

On the other hand, who wouldn’t remember Sylvester Stallone? Or the Rambo movies for that matter?

These two big stars are some of those I used to watch in my younger years. I was mostly influenced by my late father who was crazy with the Rocky, Rambo and the Die Hard movies.

Sylvester Stallone is a lot older but now he’s got Rambo 4. Like there was a Die Hard 4 last year, remember? Well, I can’t really blame these two. They are too old to make new movies and must be wanting to continue their old glorious days, hence the latest installments of their old hits.

But then they can always direct or produce movies today…

In fairness, I can’t remember Sylvester Stallone that comprehensible when talking. Remember that in most of his movies, he talks with teeth locked together and his lips almost closed. I can never understand most of his dialogs in all his movies. But who needs comprehensible dialogs in movies like Rambo where everyone screams to death or blows up, right?

After all these years, I finally found Sylvester Stallone comprehensible that night he guested at the Late Show with David Letterman. Or maybe I just never saw him in any interview in the past?

Anyways, the highlight was actually after the said show when these two oldies tested the big bikes that the American Choppers brought.

Apparently, David Letterman (the mega-oldie!) is crazy about big bikes too. But where is he in the photos?
