Andrew Lloyd Webber @ American Idol
This week was Andrew Lloyd Webber week at American Idol. I thought I’d never see such a combination.
I guess that was a great move — tested whether any of the contestants can really sing.
All the hair (well, not really all!!) in my body went up watching the whole show.
Ha ha. A full orchestra seem to have that effect on me.
The fact that David Cook is a great talent, has been proven once more. This guy can sing anything, of any genre — and then he brings the house down in practically every performance.
Here he is singing a piece from Phantom of the Opera - “Music of The Night”.
This week, the separation of David Cook from David Archuleta became too visible, I really do not understand why viewers haven’t seen that from the very beginning. David Archuleta is a pop balladeer, period.
You know…separating the men from the boys, sort of.
I usually do not surf the net for spoilers since airing of American Idol here in ‘Pinas (via Star World for cable subscribers) has a 1-day delay.
But I recently subscribed to The Cat — that’s where I read that Carly Smithson is now out of the competition.
Hmmm…honestly? I think Brooke should go, that girl is gonna explode into pieces on stage if she doesn’t get hold of those nerves very soon!

I’m still heart broken from Michael Johns’ exit. I still think that he should be up there
