20 minutes ago, Raine and my mother took the bus going to Manila to visit my sister-in-law and nephew in Meycauayan (Bulacan) for at least a week.
I was so looking forward to this day because 1) i wanted to know how Raine or me will fare during the “separation” Since we came home, I’ve never been away more than three days without him; and 2) i wanted some peace and quiet in the house because lately, we’ve been in each other’s neck!
Before getting on the bus, Raine gave me a hug and once in his seat shouted out the open bus window down at me : “Bye mom, i love you!” and blew me a kiss. How can he be that confident? He he. Before I can blew a kiss back, the bus took off and just watched its back round the curve until it’s out of sight.
I then went back in the house, cleaned our little room, several times! I picked up his toys scattered on the floor and threw them in the box where the rest are. And then I made our bed. Seems awhile since I last made our made! It’s either always un-made because of both our rowdiness or somebody made the bed for us.
As I was stacking my pillows on the right side (my side), I said to myself “I should remember to sleep in the middle of the bed tonight”. And then I cried, like a baby.
Gosh. I miss him already. And he’s not even going to college yet!
I’m telling you guys…motherhood makes us all a little bit crazy. ![]()
