…but raine didn’t even notice.

I flew to Manila via the very early morning flight on Sunday. Raine was still sound asleep.

I got back this morning at 6 am (took the 9-hour bus ride from turbina) and Raine was still sound asleep.

When he got here at 9 am, he thought I was just in the city house all along, doing some work.

He just realized that I’ve been far away behind his back when he saw the boxes of products I brought home. Products that I need to sell right away.

Ang bilis mo mommy ah…may wings ka ba?

He he he. I wish Raine. I really wish I have.

I wish I’m a stone. I wish my heart is a stone.

So I don’t feel anything.

So I don’t get hurt.

So I don’t get affected by anything. AT ALL.

In short, I wanna be a freaking robot!

First time ever I saw your face

I wish Raine will do that in the future…

…I’d be standing up the whole time.

Finally i have a group of moms in Raine’s school. After lunch time today, I hanged out with them for an-hour-and-a-half.

You know…just talking about life and parenting in general. Almost 3 months later and I finally belong.

It’s good hanging out with other moms. For one, you’ll finally find out that you are not alone. Today I found out that there are other kids worse than Raine. I mean mas malikot at makulit. Mahirap gisingin sa umaga. Maarte sa ulam, etc, etc.

I feel so relieved!

Besides, I need to hang out with others aged waaayyy over 6 (or 7).

Whatdoyouthink?

Last night I finished my extra raket and submitted it all.

As of today I’ve got 6 blogs posts remaining to be done and I have until August 31.

6 blog posts in 6 days?? Good stat. Not bad at all.

Meanwhile…since Saturday evening I’ve been doing our laundry.  The day’s used clothes, I wash them at night on the kitchen sink. Not heavy at all. Except for the tiny holes (courtesy of Tide detergent) on my skin…one can hardly notice I’ve been doing some extra chores.

Besides, beautiful hands are hands that work. Right?

…and Raine is moving in slow mo.

I’ve been up since 505 am (i slept around 120 am)!

5 more articles to go and I’m done.

That’s probably going to be a new television set or an aircon. (I’m leaning towards the aircon while Raine wants the TV)

so don’t na lang?

pagod na ako.

kaya don’t na lang.

Starting at 1130 this morning, brownout na sa barrio. A few minutes before 1 pm, I’m back here in the house in the city. I need to work. Then I got distracted browsing my FB friends’ photos!

I thought I’d blog first. My problogs are down.

What’s with today?? Mu-mu ni Ninoy?! He he he.

Right now? I gotta go home. Mommy duty calls!

Since tomorrow is a holiday, we’ll be enjoying a long weekend.

However, I’ve got 11 long articles to be written.

Deadline is on Monday.

I probably won’t go home with Raine later this afternoon. I’m thinking of going home tonight so I can still catch Only You at home. Then I come back tomorrow to work. Then again on Saturday.

It’s okay if I can’t have sleep marathons this weekend, as long as the price is right. He he he.

August 21, 2009 is Ninoy Aquino Day and has been declared a Special Non-Working Holiday by the Philippine Government. That’s on Friday. Yes, this coming Friday.

Now we can make-up for the recently short weekend!

Wow.  2 more days to go and  we’ll be home. I can’t wait!

Just caught my breath right now. Raine is in bed. Quiet. I have done the dishes and have ironed Raine’s uniforms. Our weekend was cut short due to Saturday morning’s exam at Raine’s school.

Next PTA meeting?? I will sugggest that if exams run through Saturday, there shouldn’t be any class on the Monday following it. The kids aren’t rested yet. So are the parents.

I will suggest that together with no parent should hang out the whole day at the waiting area. Most moms there abuse the purpose of the waiting area. Two of them actually have pillows and sleep on the bench. Ok fine…they are from a faraway town.  But should they really make the waiting area their halfway home? Most importantly: don’t they have anything else to do in between school hours?

Maybe not!

But that is not an excuse to hang out and sleep on the bench the whole day.

Well…tomorrow is another day.

This morning is Raine’s last day of exam. We go home afterwards (after 1030 am). I can’t wait to go home so I can sleep in my bed.

Our weekend is in effect shortened. Tomorrow afternoon we come back here in preparation for Monday’s class. Raine is raring to go home as well!

It’s just about an hour now…and we’re outta here.

People tend to focus on the person and not what the person is saying.

That’s when personal attacks happen.

Sigh.

When will we ever learn?

Raine’s first quarter examination started this afternoon. There’s another one tomorrow afternoon and the last part is on Saturday morning.

While that gives me more time to get online and finish my blogging committments, that means I cannot catch the Friday night teleserye at home.

Raine is raring to go home. He miss playing with his playmates in our neighborhood. He misses lola a lot too.

Oh well…he’s got YEARS of exams to go.

My throat-neck area has been swelling up since the month of May. My mother’s been prodding to go see a doctor since then. But I kept postponing it. Recently, I finally went.

The doctor (EENT) is suspecting goiter, as I suspected as well (not mesothelioma!). But I have to have ultrasound of the neck and thyroid gland and 4 blood tests. I’ve yet to have those done. I will not later than this coming weekend.

My neck is a lot bigger now. So this really can’t wait anymore.

Last night, I joined Raine in bed so he could sleep. Then I fell asleep too! My PC is still on and my laundry is still on the sink!

But I have set the alarms at 630 am.  Today is a Wednesday, class starts at 830 am. I told Raine he can sleep even until 730 am!

But it is so hot here. We only have one electric fan and it is already on maximum speed. Despite that, the heat all night wasn’t conducive for sleeping. We are like inside a small oven!

(Are there cooler places at Outer Banks rentals?)

Anyways…I got up 30 minutes ago. I did the laundry on the sink and I’m now working on my PC.

If we had a TV here…Raine and I are already watching Only You right now. Then Raine will go to bed after it and then I will go on to watch Tayong Dalawa.

But since tomorrow is a Wednesday, Raine’s class will start at 830 am! For sure,  both of us will oversleep tomorrow.

Now I’m not regretting that I don’t participate in blog awards these days.

Unlike our Monday morning…this morning was a lot better.  A lot better that i need not file for a social security disability. He he.

Raine got up before 630 am. He went ahead to bathe himself and then finished his milk and cereals.

Marunong namang maligo at magbihis yan mag-isa. It’s just that when we are pressed for time, I do it all for him so that we’ll make it to school on time. Besides…I keep telling him to get up before 630 am so that I don’t have to rush him. He hates it when I rush him. Lalo syang bumabagal.

Anyways…I hope daily is like this morning. So that I won’t be too tired at the start of the day.

Well…it is indeed great to find an online sale. You can do your shopping in the comforts of your home. Even if you are at work. Just don’t let your boss see you while you do.

I for one have succumbed to online shopping and I’ve been doing it for years. It is just swell. As long as you pay for minimal shipping fees…I’m all in.

Besides, there are just stuff I can’t get online. I just don’t buy go online shopping on a regular basis. Maybe just twice or thrice a year. Else, that will put a hole in my pocket.

Mornings like today…I want to go on orlando vacations for like…forever!

First he didn’t want to get up.

Then, he wanted to wear the converse shoes to school!

But it can’t be because it has to be black shoes with the uniform Mondays through Thurdays.

He can on Friday though because that’s P.E. day.

He threatened he won’t go to school if I don’t let him wear the converse.

Huh?! Alangan naman…sya ang masunod!

Syempre ako. We left the house at 655. I walked him to school.

No more arguments! Period.

Last month when I went to Manila, I bought a beige all-star Converse. It was on sale and I’ve been wanting to go back to wearing closed shoes, so I really couldn’t resist it.

I got the size 3 from megamall. Exactly like the one in this photo.  You know I was a bit in a hurry then in Megamall…so I just took the size 3 because the size 3.5 is  a bit longer. Then when I was in the taxi going to the Laguna-bound bus station at Gil Puyat…I tried putting the said shoes on…with matching socks this time. Gosh…my toes were cramping already, masikip!

Well by then I can’t go back to megamall any longer. Besides, it was raining terribly. Anyways…when I got home, Raine thought that the shoes were his. Apparently he tried them on when I was asleep. Then when I got up he said that  the shoes fitted his well (except a half-an-inch extra!)

Yesterday when we got back here he was wearing them. Bagay sa kanya. Papano na ako? Wala na akong all-star converse!

Hmmm…Chucks hi-top bilhin ko next time (i used to have two, one red and one blue) and I’ll be careful with the sizes I get. Else, they’d all end up with Raine. He he he.

This afternoon, Raine and I got back in the city.

It is quite a change. For instance, ang init dito. Mahangin at ma-presko sa barrio.

The whole weekend, all I did was sleep and eat (like I promised). My mother was there to look after Raine. On Saturday morning, I slept after breakfast. I got up at 2 pm to have lunch. They had lunch on time of course, they just didn’t wake me up. That was really sweet. Or maybe they didn’t have the guts to wake me up? He he. Else…I can be really grumpy you know…
